Pèppoli

Marchesi Antinori
Blick über die weiten Reben des Weingutes Pèppoli in der Toskana

Wine connoisseurs know: Wherever Antinori is on the label, quality lies within. The Pèppoli winery is no different.

This is how a Chianti classico should be: fruity, drinkable, silky smooth and charming. And Pèppoli knows just how to achieve this! Sun-kissed Sangiovese, Merlot and Syrah grapes are cultivated with great passion on the estate, which has been part of the Marchesi Antinori empire since the mid-1980s, and vinified into a juicy Chianti classico. A red wine that is a pleasure to drink, Pèppoli displays so much personality that it never disappoints. Just typical Chianti!

The vineyards possess something special: the estate's 50 hectares of vines face north-east, but benefit from a special microclimate in a sheltered little valley, so that they retain their fresh fruit. The earthy, mineral-rich terroirs also lend the wines strength and structure. Incidentally, 27 hectares of olive trees, some of which are centuries old, yield a delectable organic olive oil.
