The French wine-growing region of Côtes du Luberon stretches across 4,000 hectares between Montélimar in the north and Avignon in the south. Not far from the picturesque town of Pertuis lies the Château Val Joanis wine estate with its 400 hectares of vines, olive groves and a multi-award-winning garden. The Provençal manor house also houses a farm shop with all of the estate’s produce. Château Val Joanis – a popular tourist destination that can easily be combined with a trip to the Luberon Nature Park. By the way: Jean de Joanis, who gave his name to the winery, was the secretary to King Louis III of Naples.
