Santa Lucia Zermatt
Santa Lucia Zermatt is open all year round with around 80 seats and a cosy terrace that invites you to linger on sunny days. The charming, rustic chalet style of the building – the oldest part of which dates back to 1885–1890 – combined with typical Santa Lucia accents creates a welcoming, warm atmosphere.

Management
We’re from Sicily, from Enna, a small town in the mountains at the heart of the island. That’s where our passion for gastronomy began. I graduated from hotel management school in Italy and gained practical experience early on in various tourist regions. My wife studied social and educational psychology and later ran her own bookstore. This allowed her to develop not only her organizational skills but, above all, her great strength in dealing with people.
In 2013, we took the plunge together and moved to Switzerland. After our first jobs in the restaurant industry, we fulfilled a long-held dream in 2017 by opening our own Italian restaurant in Zollikofen, bringing a piece of Sicilian warmth and authentic cuisine to Bern until 2024.
After our time at Più in Bern, we’ve now been drawn back to the mountains. We’re thrilled to bring plenty of pizza, pasta, and amore to Zermatt.
