I came to Switzerland in 1999 through Gastro Suisse, and was given the opportunity to train as a cook. It was a very intense time! Because this was not just the beginning of my professional career but also when I started to get to know Switzerland, its culture and its languages. My passion for gastronomy grew over time, and I switched from back of house to front of house. After completing a degree in restaurant management, I was able to gain valuable experience at various large companies and to show what I am capable of. This very formative stage in my professional journey led me to Bindella. Here I found not only my professional home but also a deep connection to Italian culture, which I love. The Mediterranean vibe and the family atmosphere immediately made me feel at home. It fills me with great joy to share a little piece of Italy with our guests and to experience unforgettable culinary moments together.

My culinary journey began in Switzerland, at a small family restaurant where I learned the true meaning of hospitality all’italiana. To broaden my horizons I found my way to an enterprise with multiple locations. Here I was able to deepen my knowledge about things like concept design, production control and order management – important building blocks for my training. When at last I came to Santa Lucia as a pizzaiolo, I was able to fulfil my passion for Mediterranean cuisine and to develop my skills further. As chef de cuisine at Santa Lucia Corso, I can vouch for our quality and our teamwork. It fills me with pride to take on this position and to use my culinary expertise to delight our guests.
