My passion for cooking and hospitality was imparted to me at a very young age by my mother, who worked as a housekeeper at a renowned five-star hotel. Being named Host of the Year 2024 fills me with pride and reflects how passionate I am about looking after our guests. Because for me the focus is always on the person. The teamwork between the kitchen and the serving staff is the heart of Ristorante Ornellaia, and I am proud to be the host here. I naturally have a strong bond with my brother Giacinto, who is chef de cuisine; but working together, our focus is also on professionalism and a good working relationship.

Our roots in Avellino, a town east of Naples, have influenced my love of food and my culinary career from the start. The close relationship with my brother Antonio, who is the host, is especially important to me. We share not only the passion for gastronomy but also deep family ties. In 2023, after 25 years in the 5-star hotel business, I became chef de cuisine at Ristorante Ornellaia in order to fully live out my passion in this special restaurant and to create unique culinary experiences.
